If This is OK then What Else?

If it is OK to cross the border and the US government will take you in house you and feed you, is it OK for me to:

Break into your house and wait for you to feed me?

Take your food without your permission. (It is a right.) 

If the IRS can target people they disagree with can I:

Report people I don’t like as terrorists to the FBI?

Audit Charter Cable because I think they over charge me.

If Obama can just refuse to enforce the law?

Can I refuse to have any healthcare coverage?

Can I walk into Mexico and stay as a Mexican citizen?

Can I stop paying taxes?

Is It on Purpose?

I promise to not to be brazenly trite after this opening statement, but truth sometimes trumps the effort to avoid cliches. You can judge a man by his actions, and or in Obama’s case, his inactions.

I would argue that the destruction of our healthcare system, the influx at the border, the evisceration of our military, the failure of our economy, our diminished power and prestige abroad, the increased threat to our allies around the world and the imminent acquisition by Iran of a nuclear weapon are all the direct consequence of Obama’s purposeful policies. Obama is a “Worldist”, someone who believes every country should have the same resources and advantages as every other country no matter their intent, political system or religion. Closely allied with this view is the failure to recognize individual effort (individualism) and support for open borders. As have others who have believed that people must be ruled by the state, Obama also believes that the end justifies the means.

Let’s start with some examples. The attack on the Embassy in Benghazi, Libya in 2011 has been analyzed in great depth.  That government put out the story about it being caused by a completely unrelated video when they knew otherwise was political. But what of the question, why did we not send in people to rescue them?  By all accounts we could have done that. Obama wanted to avoid that, not just because it did not fit his political narrative, but even more so, because a successful rescue would have broadcast to the world our amazing capability, causing our enemies to fear us and increasing the perception that we were indeed a super power. So, instead of America looking strong and projecting American exceptionalism, he was willing to let Americans die. He does not want us to look better, stronger or safer than anyone else.

He uses regulation and a direct attack on our energy sector to drive up energy prices. He claims it is about global warming but our portion of the world’s global warming, if there is such a thing,  is minuscule compared to China and India. It is really a way to put the brakes on the US economy and direct funds into areas that the government wants to invest in. Controlling energy controls money, props up the Arab Oil producers and keeps the U.S. as dependent. Stopping the American engine so we look helpless like everyone else is his goal.  Helpless creates the need for big government.  Prosperity is the antithesis to big government and it screams freedom.

Control is a big theme in Obama’s economy. No matter the devastation of Obamacare or the failure of the stimulus companies, he believes government should control all of the economy.   To Obama and his idealogs killing a few sick people, veterans,  people with private insurance, or people that might disagree with them is a natural part of the process.  Every big government approach in history has taken for granted that people die in order to bring about the greater good.  Stalin killed his opponents,  the intellectuals, and anyone who disagreed with his vision.  Then the  vision killed millions.

The influx on the border has been orchestrated.  There was supposed to be a fence and a border patrol that turned people away or deterred entrance.  Yes, with stroke of a pen he has broadcast that we will not turn people away and he has actively orchestrated in influx.  It is all part of the same plan, to destroy America, to overwhelm its resources, and to create a call to big government.  His desire is to get that call loud enough to eliminate the democratic system altogether.

The debt, paying people not to work, reducing American productivity to new lows by making it unrewarding to work is also reshaping our country.  The greater the dependence on government, the less chance society will return to a more independent, free and prosperous realm.  Again, it centers on centralizing power in Washington and creating the command economy of the USSR.

Those that do not realize that this is on purpose do not give him and those behind him enough credit.    They mean to abolish the constitution and all freedom except for those freedoms that they allow.  The net result will be more VA’s, more death, more poverty, more terror, Israel under siege , Iran with a nuclear weapon, or a bunch of nuclear weapons.  This is the fair and wonderful world envisioned by our President.  In the past this was called treason.  How it became progressivism is still a mystery.

Why is the United States not Energy Independent?

The United States is one of the richest oil and natural gas producing countries in the world with more than enough resources to be completely energy independent. Why then has the government selected a host of policies that drive our energy costs up and prop up foreign energy producers? More than any other single factor, the rise in energy costs are driving inflation and the impoverishment of the average American.

If you ever wonder whether your government is looking out for you, all you have to do is examine energy policy and its impact on your wallet.

Let’s start with the obvious. Just one of many firms lobbying Congress on behalf of Saudi Arabia is Qorvis which has been paid over $60.3 million since 2001. Instead of pursuing fracking, off shore drilling and natural gas exploration Congress has chosen to create policies that protect the Saudi export price. We pay for that choice. We pay for that whether it is Iraq, or Kuwait or any other oil lobby country. Our energy policy is bought and paid for by foreign interests.

Further, a second group driving up our prices is the environmentalists. The push for policies to stem the tide of a non-existent global warming crisis is a push designed to keep energy prices artificially high and to keep American energy out of the market. (Did you hear of this years record Antarctican Sea ice.) How much foreign capital goes to pay for environmental lobbies is a good question. I bet its overwhelming.

It is environmental concerns that have kept fracking out of NY and kept the Keystone pipeline from being built even in the face of overwhelming evidence that the environmental impact is minimal. Those taking money,campaign or otherwise from these foreign groups are interested in their own profit, not the welfare of the country. Foreign lobbies should be outlawed. They have no interest in our welfare. It is time to elect people that care more about the United States than global welfare and their own pockets. Energy policy demonstrates corruption at its purest.

We could have $1.00 per gallon gas and an economy that booms more than any other, if only we could use the resources God us without interference by traitors and foreign interests. Think about this the next time you fill up.

The Collective — Destroying the Middle Class

A war on the middle class is the true nature of what is occurring in the United States .  Briefly,  lets examine the facts.  Working Americans are subjected to higher prices, out of control fuel costs, exorbitant health care costs, stagnant wages, less employment opportunity, and higher taxes.  Why is that?

Government regulation and interference in the economy has destroyed innovation, expansion and capital investment in new business.  The real victims, the ones paying for out of control immigration, welfare, millions of non-disabled on disability,  3 years of unemployment benefits  and a host of other governmental programs are the working class.

The working class is being squeezed out of existence to the point that there will come a time that those earning a living will no longer see that as a net plus.  They will quit.  Many already have quit which is why the unemployed and not looking for work group  is at a all time high.   As more quit there will be no one to support all the benefits and the system will collapse.

The value of those who work has been diminished.  Their contributions ignored as the media props up policies that move us toward a condition much like that of the Soviet Union in 1989.  No one saw a reason to work for a government that did not let them keep any of the products of their labor and that rewarded poor effort as much as exceptional effort.  They had all become part of a collective that produced nothing.  With no production there was nothing to pay for government so it collapsed.

We are on that path today.  Allowing uncontrolled immigration by non- producing individuals, by cutting off energy production at the knees, by forcing prices higher through regulation and fiscal policy our government is trying to recreate the collective.    It is far down that path.

It may take more than votes to reverse this ship.  Our current leadership is determined to purposely drive the ship onto the rocks.  It wants to destroy the family, the middle class, and all those that would think for themselves and live free.

I do not know how to stop the train.  Few of our leaders are willing to challenge the destruction of our constitution by the failure of the executive to uphold the law.    As the middle class gets squeezed and can no longer survive there will be unrest.  Murrieta, CA was a start but mild as to the way it will be if the ship continues on its current course.

 

Hospitals Refuse to Readmit Sick Patients — They Die — The Next Headline

With the VA scandal still in the throws of discovery it is clear that the federal government incentivized the fraud that led to 100’s of veteran deaths.  Bonuses were paid to federal employees if it looked like the VA was doing its job and taking care of patients.  This lead to massive fraud.  No one actually verified that the patients were taken care of.  

In non-VA hospitals:

“The U.S. has begun levying fines against hospitals that have too many patients readmitted within a month, and rewarding hospitals that do well on a benchmark of clinical outcomes and patient surveys. ”  (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-06-26/hospitals-soon-see-donuts-to-cigarette-charges-for-health.html)

In other words, regular hospitals are being paid if they can prevent patients from being re-admitted.  My guess, based on human nature, is that some patients have already died because hospitals have refused to admit them.  This is no different than the VA scandal where people are rewarded for not providing appropriate care.  

Just think of it this way.  A recently released heart patient develops an arrhythmia.  It’s been 29 days since he was last discharged.  In order not to pay out extra in fines, the hospital tells the patient he needs to wait three days before he comes in.  He dies in the meantime.  How many times will this scenario be repeated. Once again government intervention results in untimely deaths.  Yet the hospital and its administrators have a better bottom line.  

It is time to get the government out of health care.  The government’s interest is not patient health but cost control and if patients die on the way, so be it.  The VA situation has proven this to be the case.  The stage is set for many, many more avoidable deaths.

Impeachment — High Crimes and Misdemeanors

    President Obama willfully broke the law when he failed to notify Congress of that he was releasing 5 Taliban fighters in exchange for one deserter.  In that same move he willfully gave aid and comfort to the enemy.  By any standard previously held in America, that is treason.  Failure to follow or uphold the laws of this land is a direct violation of his oath of office and is cause for impeachment.  Even if that alone is not enough the President has specifically said that he will not uphold the immigration laws as they exist currently.  That too is a direct violation of his oath of office.  

     His administration and his attorney general have failed to investigate and prosecute the IRS scandal, or to imprison Lois Lerner after she was held in contempt by Congress.  It is clear that his justice department is failing to dutifully uphold the law.  That is true with immigration, the fast and furious scandal, and the IRS persecution of the President’s opponents.  

     Collectively the level of illegality, from amending Obamacare without Congressional approval to inviting a flood on illegals into this country by not enforcing the laws is appalling.  Each of these items should be enough to bring articles of impeachment.  Why then have these not been brought?  Fast and Furious cost lives.  The failure in Benghazi cost lives.  Immigrants here illegally are costing lives and taking jobs.  All of these these things are treasonous. 

    I would guess that Congress does not have the willingness to challenge the status quo.  They are not willing to stand for any principles that make up this country.  They are not willing to take on the dictator, nor to protect the things that make America special and unique.  It is shameful that the articles of impeachment have not been brought.  I urge everyone to to request this of your congress person.  Two more years of this lawlessness will cause the loss of life of countless more Americans, as Obama continues to pursue policies that risk the lives of American citizens.

 

 

Implosion — USA — Fiction

     The elevator to the top floor of the old Lehman building in New York was out.  The building was all but abandoned so getting to his appointment on the top floor was going to be hard.  Already by the 4th floor he was huffing and puffing, breathless.  He stopped for a minute to rest.  

    Paul K had worked at the NY Times for 30 years and had always been a dutiful soldier for liberal causes such as global warming, wealth distribution, and increasing the minimum wage.  Over and over again he had been an unabashed apologist for first the Obama administration then for the Clinton regime.  As the economy continued to worsen, his investments tanked and his children all went on public assistance since they could not find jobs.  Since congress had failed to stop Obama from violating the Constitution, Hillary had just declared marshal law and abolished it.  Thanks to their purchases, every agency of the federal government was armed to the teeth. There was no one left to stand up.  

     After a short rest, he continued his pace.  Maybe he should not be in such a hurry.  If he paced himself he would not be so out of breath.  The appointment would wait he thought.  

     Inflation which ate into food prices so badly a few years ago had gotten so bad that government checks and welfare were not enough.  Those with the higher minimum wage could not afford to feed their families.  His own grand children did not have enough to eat.  As one of the proponents of American communism he and the NY Times had helped to bring about the greatest poverty this country had ever known.  His children had stopped talking to him because they knew he had helped that happen.  They blamed him for not helping more, but he too had been wiped out, his salary trimmed to almost nil. 

    The millions of people that had been working stopped as they could no longer continue to fund a government that took most of their income only to take care of people that refused to take care of themselves.  Private healthcare had been outlawed and now there were hardly any doctors willing to treat any patients.  With the collapse of the physician supply, the pharma companies had failed since no one could write prescriptions.  One of his grandchildren had died waiting on treatment. 

     Riots and death were everywhere as the Clinton regime would slaughter millions in the name of peace.  He wondered if he should leave a letter saying how wrong he had been.  The American communist was no different than the Chinese communist and Tienanmen Square or Stalin and his relocation plans.  He thought to himself,  we all thought we could do communism correctly and benefit everyone, but really we are no different than the thugs that came before us.  What a legacy.  When it is all said and done it will be the same legacy as Hitler or any other mass murderer.

   He had reached to 58th floor. He was covered is sweat. It was not really the best way to make an impression.  It there was an impression to make then the sweat probably was not a negative.

    He now knew, his own arrogance had helped destroy his family and everyone he knew.  The time had come.  He would have preferred a gun, but could not obtain one.  Only the Homeland Security people were allowed to have those. Had others been able to keep their guns maybe things would not be so bad.   It would have to be a building.  That would not be so bad, but he was terrified of heights.  Ok, the last flight and through the door.  There was no one here, just silence.  Even the air conditioning compressors and fans that used to rumble keeping the whole building air cooled were silent.  No coal, no electricity.  Funny how that worked.

At least it was better than the consequences of supporting the regime and the destruction they had and were causing.  It really did not matter.  In the end, no one would be willing to work and most of America would starve, including the regime.  Maybe something new would come out of it.  No matter, he would not be here to see it.  He was not fond of the idea of starving.  That really left just one choice.  Waling across the flat he looked over the city, most of its energy and light had already died away.  Just one more step.

Our Veterans Deserve Better — Here is the Fix

There are lists of over 1000 veterans waiting for their first appointment at bunches of VA hospitals.  How that happens baffles me.  The fix is simple, Hire 10 doctors seeing 3 patients an hour for 8 hours a day.  (Any doctor in private practice will tell you that they often see 8 to 10 patients an hour, so 3 is peanuts.)  Each doctor would see 24 patients a day so that is 240 patients per day for the 10 doctors.  In a week they have seen 1200 patients and in two weeks the backlog is gone.  Keep the 10 doctors and support staff to take care of the follow up and in two months you have either treated and released, admitted, tested, or set up ongoing therapy for 2400 patients all who were initially seen and evaluated within two weeks.

In order to enroll, document and plan for the influx you will no doubt need to hire 5 nurses, and 5 front desk folks, schedule labs, hospital admissions, equipment purchases,  plan for in-house lab tests and outsourced lab tests, plan for reviews of those tests and arrange for treatment protocols with follow up.  Any competent medical office manager could do this blindfolded while having a stroke.

The fact that this was not done in all these facilities is a total mystery.  It’s simple resource allocation.  Competent people do it in every business and healthcare organization in the country every day.  

 

 

How can you tell if our President is lying. “His Lips Are Moving”

Did your mother teach you not to lie.   I know that every time I was caught re-framing the truth the pillars of excoriation would descend. The next time I was tempted to lie I would remember the previous consequence and think better of that approach.  In society today that is no longer the case.  Politicians make up the truth as they go along and if they get caught in a lie, they just continue on without consequence.  If this happened every now and then it would not be so bad.  Now, our leader, the exemplar and chief, Barack Obama lies about jobs, healthcare, the IRS, Benghazi, our security and our economy.  He pays no penalty for the lies.  There is no consequence.  

Actually, those that call out the truth are shouted down.  Professor Bengysson is harassed because he dares to question climate change, Ben Carson is called names for pointing out the the new health care system is an abject failure,  Condoleezza Rice is prevented from speaking just because her views might differ from those that would listen.  Susan Rice is told to lie and is promoted for this. 

What do we learn from this?  Americans learn that it pays to be dishonest.  If you lie for the correct cause you will be rewarded. It is ok to be outside the law because no one will hold you accountable.  Once those in the highest office in the land are allowed to lie without consequence why can’t everyone do so?  Thank you Mister President for being such a wonderful role model.  I wonder if you really quit smoking.  I guess lying is an addiction.  You just can’t help yourself.  We can get you help. It’s called impeachment.

Future Totalitarian States of America. –The Failure of Liberal Arts and Common Core

Harvard’s Extension School is hosting a Black Mass including a speech by an Harvard Professor.  This exercise passes as an educational experience for Harvard students.  This is an example of the elite thinking and activities expected of our future leaders. Just as the Southern Poverty Law Center is branding those that oppose Common Core as extremists, and names Tea Partiers and conservatives as troglodytes, known however for their traditional religious beliefs.  The Black Mass and Common Core are both symptoms of the assault by those that want big government control over every aspect of American Life. 

I am particularly appalled by the Southern Poverty Law Center’s attitude as so much of Common Core is a full on invasion of each kid’s personal information.  It is a step toward complete totalitarianism where the government controls what people are suited for and what jobs they are prepared for.  The new name for it “College and Career Ready” says it all.  That is the direction.  Further, the implementation by the Federal Government of Common Core has been accomplished by bribing States, educators, and Governor’s with funds to entice them to adopt common core even without the full details being available.  The one state, Indiana that has pulled out has already been threatened that it will lose other funding.  That is coercion.   Watching the implementation of Common Core in Alabama, many of the implementations are leaving a wake of confused and less accomplished students than what existed before this was adopted.   

So from the stance of the Southern Poverty Law Center I can conclude that they support government coercion and the data collection on all American children.  Essentially they support totalitarianism.  Harvard is moving to strip traditional religious views from education and to replace them with views that diminish or even discredit those views.  Our laws are based on those traditional views and much of our Constitution depends on those views remaining a part of our society. These two activities have one thing in common creating a base for future government control of people.  The only valid moral view becomes that of the father state and the only valid job is the one the government tell you fits your personality based on the data it collected.

Wake up.  This has been tried in China, Vietnam, and the Soviet Union.  It failed. All three have moved back toward capitalism but remained totalitarian as well.  It is a shame former stalwarts of freedom, such as Harvard and the Southern Poverty Law Center have now become extensions of the Future Totalitarian States of America.
