Stop Enabling Tyranny – Before Your It

To the members of Congress, the media, big tech, the FBI, the DOJ, Teachers, and the CIA whose organization’s credibility has been utterly destroyed through the willful use of lies and the warping of the law to serve financial and political ends:  To everyone that is going along to get along as they watch harm come to themselves and their families, this message is for you.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

If your opinion differs from that of your neighbor on a topics such as religion or politics should you or your neighbor be slapped in chains and hauled off to solitary confinement?  What if, in order to make a point, your government with the help of a media that reprints every comment made by the government as gospel,  throws a 69 year old woman with breast cancer into solitary confinement, just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.   Is that ok?

Often conservative media puts forth the idea that the vast majority of FBI, CIA and DOJ employees are good people, that these are people that support the rule of law and are interested in the fair application of the law across all racial, political, and religious boundaries.  I do not believe it.  These so called good employees are silent while 100s of defendants languish in DC jails for simply walking through the open doors of the capital building, while the 10s of 1000s of George Floyd protesters who caused billions in damage leaving behind torched communities and ruined lives are bailed out by congress people.

Where are these good agents, responsible media personalities, or principled members of Congress who are supposedly standing up for either the rule of law, objective truth,  or common  decency?  They are no where to be found.    Sure, everyone wants to protect their job, but at what point does the tyranny imposed by these institutions become a tyranny that comes for even the seemingly most innocuous employee that just kept his/her head down.    When will your seemingly unimportant view of sex or religion become a reason to slap you in chains? What happens in totalitarian states when the first round of opposition is suppressed, they come for you next.

History is rife with examples of purges and these purges have begun.  Not yet bloody, the current purges are already happening.   Military members that have refused to get the vaccine have been driven out of the Armed Forces without the retirement and benefits they were promised for putting their lives on the line for this country.   How is it ok for these members to be driven out, purged, for refusing to take a vaccine that has proven to be ineffective and whose long term impact on people’s health has been hidden from the population.  In one of the healthiest, least at risk populations the vaccine was used as a loyalty test to see if these members would go along with even unreasonable commands.  Loyalty tests are the stuff of totalitarian regimes.  Why has no one pushed back on this?

Do NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and CNN support loyalty tests?  When it happens to the members of these organizations are they going to stand up and say its wrong?  By then it will be too late and the precious jobs the silent were hoping to protect will be gone.   Tyranny just requires silence and too few people to speak up.  As long as the majority do not speak up, tyranny will continue and get worse.  

The status quo has become that of a corrupt government, corrupt media and corrupt institutions whose rank and file are too afraid to speak the truth.   When companies allow China to manufacture their products using slave labor and justify that in terms of profit, that is corruption.  How many people suffer in pursuit of that profit.  When our big tech companies assist China in developing the surveillance state how long until you and your family will be subject to the same surveillance here?  When will that translate to your being arrested for having the wrong thought or for going against the prevailing orthodoxy? 

When the FBI classifies parents as terrorists in order to protect school boards from the parents whose interest in the education of their children should be paramount it is clear that the FBI no longer has an interest in pursuing criminals.  If your child is in one of these schools that is spending more time indoctrinating kids than in seeing that they have a firm foundation in reading, writing and math, then your child is being put behind in ever measure that will help that child succeed in life.   No FBI agent should be willing to help persecute parents in their efforts to promote their children’s education.  FBI agents, CIA agents, and many, many government employees have children that are no longer being taught the basics.   Why the hell do you allow this?  Why do you not stand up for your children?

Big tech employees watch while their companies implement algorithms that hide the harm being done to children, that suppress valid medical information, that promote policies that ultimately harm children and hurt both their health and long term mental stability.  Why do these employees not stand up and say enough is enough?     When the CDC is clearly hiding data, how is that not front page news? When China’s military unleashes a world wide devastating virus on the world how is that ok to bury?  When the head of the NIAID agency promotes scientific experiments (gain of function) and it results in millions of deaths, how is that not news everywhere. When those experiments are continuing, how is that ok. What if your mom, dad, brother or sister die because you remained silent, how will you feel about not calling out the people suppressing that information?

When the FBI fails to prosecute clear evidence of law breaking from Democratic operatives, from those that destroy evidence, use illicit drugs, or have demonstrated evidence of compromise by our enemies, but pursue vendettas on the thinnest of evidence against political enemies it is obvious that the FBI is no longer interested in justice.  Now the FBI is just a political hack with no reputation to lean on other than a terrible, awful, disreputable stain.  If I were an FBI agent and a father teaching my son or daughter that the work I did was honorable, I would be ashamed.   Where are those people? Why do they tolerate this from their bosses? What happened to the days where the FBI pursued drug traffickers, terrorists (Like the people that destroyed our cities), and gang members? Of course, not pursuing these things as a priority means one day their families will suffer death or injury. I think that if I were an FBI agent I would speak up before that happens.

For members of the FDA, CDC, and NIH,  the once respected communities of government professionals tasked with protecting the health of this nation.   To see your leaders constantly lying about Covid and the vaccine has been more than a disappointment.  To watch while other countries publish real data while our country covers that data up, or worse, fabricates results is embarrassing.  The day we have a real health emergency, no one will accept that it is real since all credibility has been stripped from both the CDC, the FDA and the NIH.  How many people have died because Covid was mishandled? How many more will die because no one believes these institutions any more.   Doctors and nurses across this country, knowing that cloth masks do nothing and that lockdowns fail still got on board.  No one stood up to the failed policies that killed millions unnecessarily.  Is this the health policy world you want to be part of?  Where are the guts to stand up for what is right? 

As government policy shuts down oil and gas production in this country, the production of which enabled the most productive agriculture in the world and the export of energy that saves countless third world lives, few in government have spoken up.  As millions are starving in Ghana and Sri Lanka because of the ESG policies for which there is no evidence of planetary improvement, why are people tolerating these policies that cause poorer countries to be thrown back to the stone age, and our country to suffer unprecedented inflation, food lines and poverty.  What is shocking is the silence by all the well meaning folks. These people are ok with mass starvation as if that is some sort of social good.  If you have a family and kids for another generation these policies guarantee your kids will be far worse off that you are, or are just dead.  Not standing up now, is promising them that future. Is that what you want?

I could go on, but this is a call to all those involved in tacitly protecting these harms to rise up against their employers, government or otherwise and push for change that results in prosperity for themselves and their children.   This is not America First, although that is not a bad idea, but about self interest.  The totalitarian state has already started? How long until that state comes after you for not being vocal enough in support of its policies.   How long are you willing to call green, blue or 5, 6 in order to appease someone’s idea of control?  Are you willing to let unproven vaccines give your children heart failure or cancer in 20 years?   What will you do when your child asks you why you let him or her get the vaccine? 

Yes, this is a call to action.  Speak up, cajole, protest, support the truth, protect our country from out of control inflation, unnecessarily high energy costs, food shortages, out of control crime, unequal justice and from those whose policies hurt not just us but whose policies increase poverty across all four corners of the earth. The United States has given more cash and goods to more impoverished people across the globe than any other country in history. Letting our government impoverish its people destroys that good will. It makes millions around the world suffer. Anyone that does not speak up leaves that as their legacy. It is time to speak up. Pass this letter around to all that you know as it is incumbent on each person to stand up for what is right and what is right is in each persons self interest in the long run.

Misleading News Helping The Wealthy

If the Griswold’s  were to leave New York For Disney Land In LA instead of Wally World while driving their gas guzzling station wagon   1976_Pontiac_Grand_Safari2with grandma strapped to the roof  they would travel 2789 miles. Four Years ago they would have spent $976 on gasoline.  Today that same trip would be $418.  That means that Clark Griswold would have over $500 extra to spend on the family vacation.

Yet today’s news is all about how bad the drop in oil prices is impacting the economy.  Are the media really that dumb?  Can they not think for themselves?  If everyone in the country has more money in their pockets because oil prices have dropped, that is more money for every single industry except for oil. The costs of making plastics goes down, the cost to make cars goes down. The cost to ship goods across the country goes down so prices go down and more goods can be bought.  More sales at better margins means more profits.  Manufacturing costs go down so profit margins go up. (unless you sell oil)  So the news media, everyone of them are morons. That may be true, or there is something else driving that?

If I were a 20 year old college student living on a stipend and student loans burdened by an over taxing educational load while using recreational drugs, I could still figure this one out.

Who do you think tells the media that the drop in oil prices is bad?  (Oil companies, green energy companies, environmentalists and Wall Street investors dealing in oil)  Everyone of these entities are seeking to reverse the drop because they stand to benefit either their causes or their bottom lines.   The media is now too lazy, too ineffective and too out and out bought to even question the crap they are fed.    So what if CBS or NBC report on the ‘disaster’ low oil prices are?  So what if their reporting hurts every consumer in the United States.  They do not care.  It is far less expensive to just republish the news releases they get than to investigate how the drop in oil prices impacts most businesses and the consumer.

So what if they hurt the economy?  So what if they want prices to go up so ISIS can have more profits for Jihad, or Iran has more money to create a nuke?  The media and government are so corrupt they will push damaging information in pursuit of profits and agendas to the exclusion of common sense.   There is no allegiance to truth, no allegiance to facts.   Wally

The concept of a moral high ground has thoroughly vanished from the American media.  We can only hope it is they that get stuck with the broken down station wagon hauling grandma at $4.00 a gallon and that at some point they can no longer afford the to take the trip.  They are the Wally World of today and they need to close.

 

Truth Matters

Whether you believe the 10 commandments came from God or man, some of those rules prevent civilization from disintegrating.  Thou shall not bear false witness; thou shall not covet; thou shall not commit adultery; thou shall not steal and thou shall not commit murder are the ones that come to mind.  As a society, the backbone of common law has been built on these concepts.  When these values break down, such as in Chicago, or the Middle East, mass murder and death ensue.   Forget the Duggars and the moral overhead, when much of society quits following the five rules listed above, the future of that society is at risk.  That is where we in the US find ourselves today.

This morning a man attacked the Dallas police department headquarters with the intent of killing as many Dallas police officers as possible.  He certainly did not place a high value on the thou shalt not kill commandment.  Those in the inner city stealing, killing and coveting over their desire for drugs certainly don’t hold those principles.   When this lack of respect for these basic values predominate the result is chaos and death.

More disturbing is when the media and the government no longer adhere to these principles.  The example they set filters into the rest of society destroying its very fabric.   When a narrative of “Hand Up Don’t Shoot”  which was based completely on a lie generates protests, riots, death and destruction, the media that fostered this story is 100% responsible.  When the government uses that same narrative to take over police departments it too is responsible for the lack of policing that follows.  That is why deaths are up dramatically in Baltimore.

The attitude from both the current regime and much of the media is that the ends justify the means.  History is replete with those who had the same attitude. When CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC or FOX News report a story based on a truth they want to promote and not based on truth, bad things happen.  When the idea that racism is pervasive in police departments is promoted even with massive evidence in most cases to the contrary, the idea takes root and people protest the non-existent racism resulting in death and destruction.  When media reports about a Trayvonn Martin are doctored more people get hurt.

Whether in Nazi Germany, the Old Soviet Union or today’s China, media control or influence by the government results in death and chaos.  The fact that the media no longer holds truth in high regard means much of society will no longer hold that value.  Every lie, every misreporting that is agenda driven and not fact driven damages society and hurts innocent people.  If this trend does not reverse,  no personal property, no freedom and no lives will be worth anything.  There will come a time this impacts those in the media, where their families will be harmed by inner city violence as it spreads to the suburbs and beyond.  I wonder, if when that occurs they will make the connection.

Had they not chosen the glorify lies, to parrot government speak,  to ignore inner city deaths, to covet influence over society then the damage would not have occurred.  We already  see some of the damage as median incomes have fallen, as there are more people on food stamps than ever before,  as even at $2.50 gas prices are artificially high, and as death reigns in the inner cities.  Sadly there is little impact I can have.  It is up to each individual to hold these basic principles at priorities.  If society does this we will all prosper.  As long as society as led by the media and the government do not uphold these values we will continue to see a decline into chaos, an increase in poverty and the disintegration of society.

Ebola — Someone is Lying to Us

Update!!!  Scientists are now suspecting ebola could be spread easier than they thought.  Why are we not treating it like other infectious diseases.  (I am reminded of the Ebeneezer Scrooge comment about surplus population.)

 

In all prior ebola outbreaks the highest number of fatalities was 280.  So why has this outbreak killed over 3200 people with the count still increasing?  Is this strain more virulent or spread easier than the prior strains?    What is the difference?  The simple fact that is has been much more deadly should be enough for the government to implement quality disease control measures.  That means quarantine for all those suspected of being in contact with an infected person.  When small pox was a factor, that is how outbreaks were stopped and it was a successful set of procedures.

Why are all the people on the plane with the Dallas guy not quarantined?  Why is his family still at large?  Has political correctness replaced common sense?  Let’s not offend the people that might be infected.  That way they can infect 100’s more before they die.  If the government was taking the kind of precautions that used to be taken with small pox we would have little to fear.  Unfortunately, you can now hug a dying relative in Liberia , get ebola, fly to the US, stay with your undocumented illegal family members, give them the disease and start your own epidemic.

It’s pretty simple, healthcare 101.  If anyone is suspected of having been in the same room or building with someone with ebola, they are quarantined here for 21 days when they arrive.  No exceptions.  The disease won’t kill us, stupidity will.

A New Low – In all the News

Today, looking at the Drudge report between stories about Iran, Government snooping, a threat to the internet and about the softball questions 60 minutes gave to Obama, the story that caught my eye was a story about a women who died of cancer but was heard yelling from within her coffin.   It really is not all that different than looking at endless puppy videos on YouTube, or frittering away time on Candy Crush.  Who wants to deal with the real stuff.

The real stuff is the stuff of the economy, politics, society, crime, war, terrorists, threats and the impact of history on our day to day lives.  We have become a society that has often mastered the ability to distract ourselves from the real stuff.  In a democratic society that distraction is dangerous.  The people in charge of keeping watch on the government in our country is us.  The constitution says so, “We The People”.  If we the people are not staying on top of things, being aware, being educated and fighting for freedom, then we will lose the freedom that has allowed us to become the most secure, and prosperous country in the world.

With cell phones, IPads, tablets, games, social media and the digital boob tube we have let the entertainment industry distract us and take us way away from what’s important.     If we as a nation were far less distracted, there is no limit to what we could accomplish.  We need to take our brains back from never never land.

Under the Government Bus

Jeff Sessions, the great Senator from Alabama,  is constantly talking about how the influx of illegals is damaging job prospects for American workers.  We usually think of this as affecting mostly farm and service jobs, but the reality is that it impacts every job.  IT workers are living on a salary that it the equivalent of that in the Clinton years.  On the low end the influx of illegals is devastating working poor Americans and for the middle class the H1B program has robbed skilled workers of opportunity.

Who do we blame for this.  The answer is simple, the Federal Government.  These are policies shaped strictly by large corporate contributions to PACs and candidates.  Companies that want to keep wages low have maneuvered our representatives into giving away the opportunity due American citizens.  This is all in the name of corporate profit and political gain.

As food inflation hits record highs, poverty hits record highs and the number of people on government assistance explodes, these policies, which penalize the majority of working Americans, remain unchanged.  Perhaps the news cycle, instead of focusing on ISIS, domestic violence in the NFL, the Kardashians, and Ferguson should focus on helping the majority of US citizens.  All the other stuff may be important, but compared to the misery the sell out of our citizenship has caused, it is little.

The solution is simple.  We need to close the borders and create huge penalties for hiring illegal workers.  Then we need to cancel the H1B program altogether.  The prosperity and the security for every US citizen will go up dramatically.  With hiring for illegal workers stopped, the ones here illegally will go home on their own.  Amazing.

It is a shame that so few in government are patriots to the tune of caring out our own citizens.

 

How Obama and The Ivy League Elite Are So Wrong

As a graduate of Colgate University, a school whose history counts it in the same club as many of the Ivy League schools I understand the liberal elitist dogma which is guiding our current leaders.   My first philosophy paper was on communism, in support of it.  I was given huge kudos for explaining how it is supposed to work and why it had failed previously.  These kudos reinforced the commitment to communist and socialist ideals.  Had I become a professor,  lawyer or politician never to truly enter the workplace, as do a significant portion of the Ivy League graduates, I would never have seen the clear reason that communism fails, it is against people,s self interest.  It will always fail compared to any system that rewards success.

Unfortunately, as with the adherence to communist philosophy these elite believe that violence, the preservation of the state by strength is an anachronistic tenet.  When Russia invades and takes over the Crimea, they denounce it as uncivilized, not 21st century, but they have no idea how to oppose the aggression.  They are unwilling to use strength to oppose those who wish to destroy us.  In doing so, they fail to realize that human nature includes those with aggressive ambition and that the the only way to deter them is by being stronger than them.  Without a strong ally, any country who lacks sufficient defenses is vulnerable.  That is why ISIS now  controls much of Iraq, Russia has the Crimea and much of Ukraine, and China has reasserted itself on territory in the far east.   We are perceived as weak thanks to Ivy League thinking.

No greater example of this is in the President’s speech on ISIS.  He refused to call the action a war.  He claimed that ISIS was not motivated by Islam, and he denied that they had a real religion.  He then applied a minimal amount of resources towards defeating the enemy.

Let’s evaluate the facts.  ISIS says that they are at war with us and are beheading our citizens.  They are taking land by military force.  By any standard other than those held by the Ivy League / Ivory Tower liberals its a war and our people are dying.  If we fail to treat it as such many more will die as a result of our inattention.  It used to be winning a war meant all out effort to destroy, (not degrade) your enemy.  The President does not have his heart in protecting the US because he does not recognize that there are very bad people out to kill us.  No amount of dialog will fix it.  They only recognize overwhelming force. Yes, they are barbarians.  Ivy League philosophy fails to recognize that barbarians exist.

On the topic of religion.  The Maya played a game where the loser’s head was removed and presented to the Gods.  It was barbaric, but no Ivy League ideology claimed that it was not a true religion as did Obama about the brutal form of Islam we face.  It is a religion and as defined by the believers, they are in a holy war to kill Christians and Jews.  How Obama thinks he is in a position to tell us what is and what is not a religion is the height of hubris.    If it is there knife at our head, how does denying that it is a religion help?

This liberal ideology, as taught in our elite schools, is creating whole generations that do not understand human nature.  They propound what they want human nature to be, and ignore anything that does not fit in their world view.  Thanks to that world view we are living in more dangerous times than we have ever experienced before.  That world view has justified big government, spying on Americans, opening up our borders and eliminating our constitution.  Perhaps these ‘smart people’ are really not so smart.  There is a word for describing those whose view of the world amounts to a fantasy.

Hospitals Refuse to Readmit Sick Patients — They Die — The Next Headline

With the VA scandal still in the throws of discovery it is clear that the federal government incentivized the fraud that led to 100’s of veteran deaths.  Bonuses were paid to federal employees if it looked like the VA was doing its job and taking care of patients.  This lead to massive fraud.  No one actually verified that the patients were taken care of.  

In non-VA hospitals:

In other words, regular hospitals are being paid if they can prevent patients from being re-admitted.  My guess, based on human nature, is that some patients have already died because hospitals have refused to admit them.  This is no different than the VA scandal where people are rewarded for not providing appropriate care.  

Just think of it this way.  A recently released heart patient develops an arrhythmia.  It’s been 29 days since he was last discharged.  In order not to pay out extra in fines, the hospital tells the patient he needs to wait three days before he comes in.  He dies in the meantime.  How many times will this scenario be repeated. Once again government intervention results in untimely deaths.  Yet the hospital and its administrators have a better bottom line.  

It is time to get the government out of health care.  The government’s interest is not patient health but cost control and if patients die on the way, so be it.  The VA situation has proven this to be the case.  The stage is set for many, many more avoidable deaths.

How can you tell if our President is lying. “His Lips Are Moving”

Did your mother teach you not to lie.   I know that every time I was caught re-framing the truth the pillars of excoriation would descend. The next time I was tempted to lie I would remember the previous consequence and think better of that approach.  In society today that is no longer the case.  Politicians make up the truth as they go along and if they get caught in a lie, they just continue on without consequence.  If this happened every now and then it would not be so bad.  Now, our leader, the exemplar and chief, Barack Obama lies about jobs, healthcare, the IRS, Benghazi, our security and our economy.  He pays no penalty for the lies.  There is no consequence.  

Actually, those that call out the truth are shouted down.  Professor Bengysson is harassed because he dares to question climate change, Ben Carson is called names for pointing out the the new health care system is an abject failure,  Condoleezza Rice is prevented from speaking just because her views might differ from those that would listen.  Susan Rice is told to lie and is promoted for this. 

What do we learn from this?  Americans learn that it pays to be dishonest.  If you lie for the correct cause you will be rewarded. It is ok to be outside the law because no one will hold you accountable.  Once those in the highest office in the land are allowed to lie without consequence why can’t everyone do so?  Thank you Mister President for being such a wonderful role model.  I wonder if you really quit smoking.  I guess lying is an addiction.  You just can’t help yourself.  We can get you help. It’s called impeachment.

An Islamist, a Liberal, An Atheist and a Terrorist were all in a Bar

Sounds like a joke, but its deadly serious. What do these groups have in common?  They are all intolerant of any view other than the one that they believe is correct.  In the last year we have seen each of these groups engage in violence to get their way.  Recently Saudi Arabia gave someone who questioned Islam 1000 lashes and jailed that person’s attorney for being an atheist.  Liberals in the past year in the United States have exhibited a whole host of violent behavior from shouting down those they don’t like to tearing up signs and pushing and shoving.  

Instead of recognizing the true nature of Islam and these regimes that consider women to be property, our leaders are trying to reign in the Christians, who at least in recent memory have not been flogging people that have different opinions.  The Islamists want to wipe out the Jews, but our government in order to seem friendlier to Islam acts as if it is OK for Iran to get the bomb.  

I believe in free speech.  People have the right to say vile things without getting jailed or shouted down. The Bill of Rights was created to protect differences of opinion.  It is not OK to tell lies.  It is not OK to brand the Tea Party as Terrorist or Evangelical Christians as Terrorists.  The believers in Christ are not out there killing people.  The Muslims are killing people every day in the name of Allah. They are the vast majority of terrorists. They have avowed to kill all the Jews.  Nevertheless our government supports the the Islamic states over the safety Israel.  

It is about time for our government to recognize who its true friends are.  People interested in tearing down prosperity, and punishing Christians are not the true friends of the United States, either internally or externally.  Helping people that want to kill you is stupid. Persecuting your true friends is stupid.  A time is coming where these policies will destroy Israel and the future of this country. Hopefully is is not already too late.
