A Government That Kills Its Own Citizens – America Lives Matter

A government that purposefully releases 10,000s, 5000 alone in Arizona,  of criminals back onto the streets without their being prosecuted does not deserve to remain in power.  Hundreds of American citizens have been killed as a result of this release.  Still, Obama remains in power and is still attempting to keep illegal aliens from being deported or incarcerated.  When it becomes your spouse or child that is killed, will you still support this government.

According to the state department’s own figures, worldwide terrorism is up.  This has resulted in more Americans being killed. This is a direct result of our foreign policy.

Obamacare, through lack of access and the destruction of coverage that was working has killed a number of Americans.

What about veteran deaths from VA mismanagement?

How about an new mantra, “American Lives Matter”.  The media CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC should be yelling this from the rooftop.   As supporters, protectors, and parrots of the Obama line they are equally responsible for these deaths.  American lives do matter, so why is our government so insensitive to preserving those lives.  Liberal policy, whether socialist or communist devalues life as less important than policy.  We see the results in the death of American.

American lives do matter.  If we value them, we will all prosper more and our current regime would not be in power.

Obamacare – Deathcare

Tens of thousands lost their doctors.  Millions of American lost their insurance. Millions more now pay substantially more out of their own pockets for health insurance for substantially less benefit.  Yet, Obama this week claimed that Obamacare Works.  The only measure that indicates that this program works is that some insurance companies are making a lot more profit than they were before this program was enacted.  The program does not work, has never worked and costs lives, and livelihoods.

Congress has the numbers and the power to abolish this program and override a veto as it remains so unpopular that even senate democrats will vote to abolish it, if they are presented with the bill as a campaign issue.  The insurance companies that are making more lobby to keep Obamacare, often more out of fear than true desire.   ABC, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC all continue to support it because it fits their agenda and provides ad dollars from the insurance companies.  In fact, these outlets are as responsible for this law remaining in effect as is Congress.

Obamacare won’t pay for a head transplant, (we can understand why this is experimental)  but cutting out the best cancer drugs and doctors has already caused the loss of life.  Every time one of these stories is ignored by ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, or FOX News these organizations along with Congress are responsible for murder.   Most of the media ignores the truth and continues to put out false information about these programs.

Whether they do so because they improve their profits, or because of ideology, or because of political pressure does not matter.  They are, by law, supposed to foster the public good.  This is one area among many where they have not only fostered public harm, but continue to do so.  As Obama Praises Obamacare this week, none of them challenged him, or publically excoriated a program that continues to harm Americans by the millions.  By that standard their license to be on the airwaves should be revoked.

Congress needs to cancel this program lock stock and barrel.  Pay for play in this area continues to cost American lives and make millions of Americans poorer and at greater health risk than ever before.  It is almost impossible to boycott every news organization but every Congressman that does not successfully repeal this law needs to be voted out. Period.  Every candidate that does not actively work toward its repeal needs to be not elected.  It is time to take back our lives in this area.

Thanks to WebMD My Healthcare is Worse

Many companies will take money for just about anything.   Thanks to WebMD and others such as AARP that promoted Obamacare my ability to afford the doctors visits I need has been compromised.  My quality of my overall healthcare as a post open heart patient is greatly diminished while my costs have sky rocketed. WebMD was paid 14 plus million  to promote Obamacare.  In addition, their contract has just been extended.   It’s like selling juggling knives to blind people.

So, a web site that supposedly cares about people’s health is contributing to the destruction of the very system that used to provide some of the best healthcare in the world.  Across the spectrum, seniors have less benefits than before and they pay more for the reduced benefits, those in middle age now get free checkups, but can’t afford to see a doctor if they are actually sick.  Doctors and hospitals are being weeded out of the system at a time when they are more needed than ever.   We are watching the wanton destruction of the very thing that once made America exceptional.  I may have to go to Canada to afford treatment.

Of course the media knows and ignores this horror.  ABC, CBS and NBC do not dare report the truth as it would sink their socialist agenda.  I already dropped AARP for its support of Obamacare.   It is time to hold all these groups accountable.  If you advertise on WebMD I hope no one will buy what you sell ever again.   They were advertising a depression drug today.  Their willingness to get paid to throw peoples health under the government bus is depressing.

Hospitals Refuse to Readmit Sick Patients — They Die — The Next Headline

With the VA scandal still in the throws of discovery it is clear that the federal government incentivized the fraud that led to 100’s of veteran deaths.  Bonuses were paid to federal employees if it looked like the VA was doing its job and taking care of patients.  This lead to massive fraud.  No one actually verified that the patients were taken care of.  

In non-VA hospitals:

“The U.S. has begun levying fines against hospitals that have too many patients readmitted within a month, and rewarding hospitals that do well on a benchmark of clinical outcomes and patient surveys. ”  (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-06-26/hospitals-soon-see-donuts-to-cigarette-charges-for-health.html)

In other words, regular hospitals are being paid if they can prevent patients from being re-admitted.  My guess, based on human nature, is that some patients have already died because hospitals have refused to admit them.  This is no different than the VA scandal where people are rewarded for not providing appropriate care.  

Just think of it this way.  A recently released heart patient develops an arrhythmia.  It’s been 29 days since he was last discharged.  In order not to pay out extra in fines, the hospital tells the patient he needs to wait three days before he comes in.  He dies in the meantime.  How many times will this scenario be repeated. Once again government intervention results in untimely deaths.  Yet the hospital and its administrators have a better bottom line.  

It is time to get the government out of health care.  The government’s interest is not patient health but cost control and if patients die on the way, so be it.  The VA situation has proven this to be the case.  The stage is set for many, many more avoidable deaths.

Big Stuff — Little Stuff — Ask One

There is a lot of big stuff going on in the world, Obamacare, Benghazi, a sour economy, Ukraine, Crimea, terrorists, the UN, Healthcare, politics. Lots of little stuff too, laundry, dishes, the lawns,(ugh), shoes, tv, video, and Miley Cyrus.  So with all that going on, have you touched base with the people you know?  Have you called your family members recently?  I will confess I am not as good at that as I ought to be.  Our time here is limited we should make the most of the relationships that we have. In the long run, that and eternity are all that matter.  

Its a challenge in a busy world to nurse and grow the things that matter.  I suppose, if it were easy we would not have anyone we would call anti-social. So, ask at least one person how they are doing today.  Really care and listen to the answer.  It will enrich your life. 

Entertainers Should Get Out Of Politics — Ellen Degeneres

Ms. DeGeneres,

Thank you for promoting Obamacare on your show last week.   Because of your support and the support of others in Hollywood  my company had to leave Blue Cross/ Blue Shield as the premiums more than doubled for my family.  Had my company stayed with BC/BS of Alabama my part of the premium would have been close to $24,000 per year.  It is a cost far greater than my family can afford. Your support of Obamacare and the support others in the entertainment industry have resulted in the destruction of working affordable insurance plans across this country.  

Millions of Americans flat out lost their coverage, coverage they liked and could afford.  Your blind support of this program is one reason that these folks are without coverage today.  Millions more are losing their coverage because the rates they pay have gone through the roof.  Those millions are middle class, just not poor enough for subsidies.  Those are the people that go to the theaters, to movies and buy the products on whose advertising you depend.  

It is my hope that anyone who has been negatively impacted by Obamacare, chooses to not buy the products that fuel your show.  If you wish to be an entertainer that is wonderful, but if you wish to promote something without becoming truly educated on what that something does, that is a crime you should be responsible for.  I realize that many celebrities have done this and they are equally responsible.   

Personally, our company had to go with an HMO and, unlike many of those I know, my doctors are in the plan.  Across the country people are dying because they have lost coverage and that process has just started.  For everyone who is denied a medical procedure because they lost their insurance, you are responsible. For everyone who dies because their doctor quits on account of this program you are responsible.   Entertainers  should not be in the business of promoting things for which they themselves don’t have to live with.  I hope the population votes with their pocket books against every entertainer that has decided they know how to provide for people’s healthcare better than they knew how to provide it themselves.

The Law is the Law — a Terrifying Truth

The President has gotten out his pen and announced a whole host of Obomacare waivers, delayed implementations and exceptions.  The problem is, he did not have the power to actually implement any of them.  Perhaps he can prevent the IRS from going after the unions and businesses he provided waivers to.  Since he did not have the ability to provide those waivers, any fees, taxes and costs associated with Obomcare are still accrueing.  The question then becomes, when does the IRS decide that those back fees weren’t really waived, but are due immediately, plus penalties?

I can envisionsion several scenarios.  Perhaps those fees and penalties will suddenly just apply to conservative businessowners.  If you gave to a conservative candidate you will now owe all your waived penalties with interest.  Your employees will no longer have health insurance coverage.  Your business will be placed in receivership.  

Perhaps the accrued fees will be used to create a need for a single payor system.  The arguement will be made that since businesses are not paying as they should the employees are at risk of losing their coverage so we need to get rid of all employer paid coverage.  In either situation the waivers may well be a huge ruse designed to further the goals of this administration and to centralize their power.

Beyond the obvious, using the waivers to protect democrats in 2014’s midterm elections,  they are part of a more sinister plan.   Their eventual enforcement will be used to cowtow their enemies and to further destroy health insurance markeplace.  

If you own a business, run and insurance company, manage a pharmaceutical company, or provide medical services in any way you best stop this train now.  Your livelihood is about to be destroyed.  Already more people have lost their insurance because of Obomacare than have gained new insurance.  The administration cares only for its agenda.  They are willing to kill or disrupt the lives of as many citizens as it takes to implement their vision.  Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Chavez, and Mao all had the same approach. Implementing the vision was more important than human life, freedom, or liberty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Government Lies – An Impotent Press

Ever since there was a government, governments have lied to their people.   I am sure that Vespasian told his people that the Roman Coliseum would be built it one year and only cost 200,000 Denarii’s.  (just a guess).   The fact that he knew it would most likely take 10 years and 1 million Denarii’s was never challenged by the Roman Press.  With an emperor, should the press dare challenge his word, it only happened one time.  We can find comfort in two places; that we will not be executed for exposing a government lie (most likely), and that our government almost 2000 years later, is still lying. 

The question is not whether government lies, but whether the press and the populace will hold that government accountable.  In the past few years the American press has not held government accountable.  The constitution guarantees a freedom of the press.  If the press never challenges the party line then it both is not free and does not need constitutional protection.  Every time the press fails to uphold the constitution and their responsibility they tacitly approve of the government’s behavior and they lose credibility.  That loss of credibility becomes impotence.  In time they will have no power, and no influence and those that dare to speak up will be persecuted.  Below are some examples.

When the President said, “If you like your like your insurance you can keep it.” 

            Where was the press?

  When border agents are killed with guns provide to the drug dealers by our federal government:

            Where was the press?

When IRS agents are caught persecuting the political enemies of the democrats:

            Where is the press?

These three scandals are still going on yet the press does not step up and investigate nor do they shout from the rooftops that our government can’t be trusted.  All three of the above issues violate the protections provided by the constitution for an individual to have a right to their life, liberty or pursuit of happiness.   A dead border agent loses his life because the federal government wants to make owning guns look bad. (Not to mention what a warped idea that was.)  His rights are violated and the press just lets that fact slip by. When it becomes one of their lives it will be too late for them to stand up. 

The destructions of people’s health insurance plans could have been predicted and prevented had the press done its job.  Some of these folks have lost their coverage after believing the lies told.  Nevertheless, the plan that stole their health security is still in place.  If the press did their job then that wrong would have been made right.   Next are death panels.  By then the press will be completely powerless to stop the wrongs.

The IRS pursued non-profits with conservative political views. The press continues to let the IRS do this as no one has been held accountable for this.  Of course, that is just a start, OSHA, and the ATF have also been used to threaten and investigate those with conservative views.  Perhaps the press thinks its ok when it is the Tea Party, but in 6 months when investigations are turned on those who don’t like NSA spying, what will they do.  In time anyone who disagrees with the government will be subject to unjustified investigation and persecution.  By not standing up for the principles of truth and by not holding up parts of the constitution the press is sewing its own destruction.

An impotent press, a cowardly press does not need freedom of the press.  The more the press sides unquestioningly with the government the less freedom we all have.  In the long run, there won’t be any press, only propaganda.  We are largely there now.  It is a shame.  Perhaps reporters should register with the government and we can use the constitution as a fish wrapper.  Our government already does that.
